Preparation:
1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out the excess liquid.
2. Finely chop the onion and mix it with the potatoes.
3. Add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
4. Heat a pan with a small amount of oil. Carefully spoon the potato batter onto the pan. Fry the pancakes until golden brown.
5. To remove excess grease, place the pancakes on a paper towel.
6. When the potato base for the appetizer is ready, spread it with sour cream.
7. Slice the red onion into half-rings and place on top of the pancakes.
8. Top with pieces of fish. This appetizer is delicious served both warm and cold.
